These prefabricated buildings have been a boon for the builders who have shorter time spans for building very strong and sturdy structures. These buildings have proved themselves better than the traditional concrete buildings in many ways. These buildings have a longer life than their traditional counterparts. These are made up of stainless steel which means these will not get corroded or damaged by the atmospheric or any such elements. Their strong and robust metal foundation gives them the strength to stand erect even in the times of natural calamities such as earth quakes. These buildings are gaining a lot of popularity these days.
These are also known as prefab building. The reason for this name is that these buildings are pre designed and pre manufactured in the workshop of the company which is building it. These are just assembled at the time of construction. The architects design these buildings and get them approved by the clients and the concerned government bodies before the construction begins. After the approval the manufacturing company, cut and manufacture the building parts according to the design. These parts are very carefully cut and marked with their identifications. It is a much simpler process to construct such buildings as these have to be simply transported and assembled at the site of construction. This is the main reason for the quick construction of steel buildings.
Another reason why people today are so much interested in these buildings is because a new concept may have new and unique designs. The metal buildings have exceptional designs that are not less than equal to those of the old conventional buildings. Most of the offices are also being made using steel structures. These steel structures have very trendy interiors and designer outlooks too.
There are two categories of steel buildings. The first category is of modular buildings and the second category is of manufactured buildings. There is only one basic difference between both the types. The modular buildings are built as per the building codes and norms whereas the manufactured buildings need not compulsorily abide by the building code. For obvious reasons, modular buildings are preferred over the manufactured ones and are considered to be more reliable and durable.
These buildings are above everything very economical on the pocket. For so many advantages these are today being used for purposes like commercial offices, malls, storage sheds and even houses.
